Yes. ChapelDesk is denomination-agnostic and is used by Malankara Orthodox, Catholic and Protestant congregations. Nothing about the content structure is fixed: you write your own about page, name your own ministries, and organise the site the way your congregation actually works. Malayalam and other non-Latin scripts render correctly throughout, including in uploaded service books.
When you add members to the ChapelDesk directory you can store their birthday and wedding anniversary. Each morning ChapelDesk emails a personalised greeting to every member with a celebration that day. You choose the template, and any member can opt out.
Yes. ChapelDesk includes a member portal. A church can issue portal access per member, and those members sign in to view the finance documents published to them, ask a question on a statement and submit reimbursement requests. Giving is tracked per household, so a spouse sees the family's record rather than an empty one.
Yes. ChapelDesk offers an assisted migration as a one-time $299 service, whatever your current site is built on — WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, GoDaddy or a site a volunteer built years ago. The ChapelDesk team rebuilds your existing pages, photo galleries, events and posts in your new site, imports your member list, and moves your domain across with SSL, and your old site stays online until you approve the new one. You own your data. You can export your full member directory as a CSV file at any time from the ChapelDesk admin dashboard. After cancellation your data is retained for 30 days so you can recover it, then permanently deleted. ChapelDesk never sells a congregation's data.
